Tragedy in Kerch. The chain has become clearer

A large-scale FSB special operation against sectarians is taking place in Crimea

A large-scale FSB special operation is taking place in Dzhankoy. Special forces are working in the city.

As a Vesti Crimea correspondent found out, Russian FSB officers are conducting a search in the house of members of the totalitarian sect “Jehovah's Witnesses”*, banned in Russia.

Several people were detained here; these are those who are members of a banned organization.

“According to a source close to law enforcement agencies, searches are now taking place at more than thirty addresses in Dzhankoy, and members of this group could, among other things, have close ties with the Ukrainian special services. Their activities were coordinated from Kharkov. Now the sectarians behave in isolation. They refused to answer our questions,” said Crimean Vesti journalist Eduard Zdorov.

The film crew managed to find out that the head of the local cell of the Jehovah's Witnesses sect was also detained. Searches at several addresses are ongoing. Russian FSB officers are working with the detainees.

“Even if you are a close relative, but are not a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization, they will not communicate with you,” the expert explains. “Parents don’t communicate with their children, children don’t communicate with their grandparents. And it often leads to the fact that Jehovah’s Witnesses are disgusted by those who are not in the organization.”

Roslyakov had one small step left - he had to be shown his path to Jehovah. Source

Journalists published new revelations from the Kerch shooter

Kerch shooter Vladislav Roslyakov, who killed dozens of people during the terrorist attack on a college on October 17, considered himself a semi-psychopath and dreamed of “shooting everyone.”

There are several million more like me on this social network alone. I’ll answer right away - my empathy is below par. I think I'm a semi-psychopath. I have little interest in communicating with my own kind. All feelings are lies, deception and crap. They should be hidden from yourself,

– wrote Roslyakov.

He also complained about his surroundings, but noted that killing people was bad.

“And also, there are only idiots around, and there are thoughts - to shoot them all. But killing people is bad. I only expressed Subjective opinion and I don’t call for killing anyone,” he added.

According to the head of the city administration, Sergei Borozdin, the young man’s body cannot be placed on the ground, since still going consequence. “The body is not buried, as the investigation into the case continues,” Borozdin told RIA Novosti. However, the young man’s parents also seem to be in no hurry to take their son’s body. It’s hard to imagine what’s going on in their souls right now, because it’s not easy to accept the fact that your child not only passed away before you, but also took dozens of people with him to the next world. A source in the region’s medical circles told TASS that the shooter’s mother is now presumably being treated in medical institution. What happened in Kerch could have completely broken her psychologically.

Another thorny moral dilemma is how to bury the shooter. According to the official, Roslyakov’s grave will not be placed in a separate sector of the cemetery. But they are not going to bury him, rootless and homeless, Borozdin emphasized in a conversation with RIA FAN. Still, the decision about the shooter’s final resting place must be made by his relatives. Source

Another victim of the attack on a college in Kerch has been hospitalized

Doctors assess the girl's condition as mild.

Another student injured during the shooting and explosion at Kerch College was hospitalized in City Hospital No. 1. Thus, there are three victims in Crimean hospitals, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health told TASS on Tuesday.

“Today a 19-year-old college student was hospitalized at Kerch City Hospital No. 1. Previously, she asked for help, but refused hospitalization, but now she decided to go to the hospital. What are the reasons - I don’t know. Her condition is mild,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to her, two more people continue to be hospitalized in Crimea. A 19-year-old girl is in the Simferopol emergency hospital, her condition is moderate. A 20-year-old college student is in a Kerch hospital in a mild condition. Source

Kuznetsova visited the victims of the tragedy in Kerch at the Moscow Research Institute of Pediatric Surgery

The Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, Anna Kuznetsova, on Saturday visited the children injured in the explosion and shooting at the Kerch Polytechnic College, who are being treated at the Moscow Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology (NII NDHiT). This is reported on the Ombudsman's website. Source

Blew up without accomplices

As the official representative of the investigative agency, Svetlana Petrenko, told an RG correspondent, the shooter turned out to be a loner.

“The investigation has established in detail Roslyakov’s path both in the adjacent territory and in the college building on the day the crime was committed. Evidence and evidence were received that recorded all his actions,” Petrenko said. “Roslyakov had no accomplices.”

The Investigative Committee says that they examined in detail the student’s personality, his views, psychological state before and at the time of the crime, and compiled a detailed psychological portrait of the killer. A post-mortem comprehensive psychological and psychiatric examination was ordered.

To date, as explained in the Investigative Committee, 650 people have been interrogated in this criminal case. But it is too early to talk about the end of the investigation. The fact that Roslyakov could have accomplices was said by many immediately after the tragedy, including the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, who did not believe that Roslyakov could independently prepare for the attack. All sorts of experts talked about the same thing. The investigation spent a month testing these assumptions.

Let us recall that on October 17, 18-year-old Polytechnic College student Vladislav Roslyakov exploded a homemade bomb in the college cafeteria, and then began shooting students and teachers. 20 people died, about 50 were hospitalized. Roslyakov himself committed suicide in the library. Source

The family of the girl injured during the emergency in Kerch was paid another 400 thousand rubles

An additional payment was made to the girl who suffered from the explosion at the Kerch Polytechnic College federal budget in the amount of 400 thousand rubles, said Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Crimea Alla Pashkunova.

On October 26, the Crimean authorities paid 500 thousand rubles from the regional budget to the girl injured during the shooting and explosion at the Kerch Polytechnic College. The victims are also entitled to financial assistance from the Russian budget, from 200 to 400 thousand rubles, depending on the severity of the injury, which is recorded by the commission.

“A cash payment in the amount of 500 thousand rubles from the republican budget was credited to Natalya’s account... on October 26 of this year, immediately after her father submitted all the documents necessary in this case. Another 400 thousand rubles were transferred from the federal budget,” the information policy department of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Crimea quotes Pashkunova as saying.

very good man and a wonderful father. Most best dad. He replaced my mother. Dad is the only person close to me.

— Was your father with you in the hospital after the incident?

“I called my father immediately after the explosion and said that the Polytechnic University had been blown up. And dad immediately came to the hospital. I saw him there. I held his hand, told him that everything would be fine, and I would walk. And I saw dad crying.

— There was information that you yourself asked not to give money to your father, because your father is a drinker. This is true?

“I read that there were rumors that my father drinks. It is not true. At that moment I had no time for money. I was in intensive care and wanted only one thing - to get well. And in general, I don’t need money, I want my own leg. Give me my leg back please.

- Does your dad drink?

- It's all a lie. My father never drank.

— You read all this news, worried... Did you try to convey the truth to someone?

“I actually read it and cried.” I was very hurt and upset. I cry even now when I remember this. I tried to convey the information that dad doesn’t drink only to friends and family. They, too, believed these rumors at first. But then they believed me.

- Is your father your friend? Do you trust him?

- Dad is more than a friend to me. I share with him everything that happens in my life. I have no secrets from him.

— They wrote that dad is not always with you in the hospital in Moscow. This is true?

— Dad is with me in the hospital every day. Sits from morning until night. He is always there. Without him it would be very difficult for me. And I didn’t doubt for a minute that he would come to me. He won't leave me.

Yuri Kalinichenko

—Have you talked to your mom lately?

— I don’t communicate with my mother. I do not need her. Just like she doesn't need me.

— What do you think about most often now?

“Now I’m thinking about getting back on my feet.”

- I know that now people have begun to help your family...

- Yes indeed. Lots of help. I did not expect. Many charity organisations bring me gifts. I'm very pleased. Thanks everyone.

- Do you think they should apologize to you? Did they even call you from Crimea?

- No one called. And I didn’t call anyone, didn’t say anything. At first I really wanted some kind of apology. And that would be enough. But now I don’t need anything anymore. I want one thing - to leave me and dad alone.

Over the past week we have been in contact with friends of the Kalinichenko family. Kerch is a small city. Everything is in sight. And a drinking person can also be seen a mile away.

Here are just some of the reviews that people left on social networks and wrote to MK.

“Yuri baptized my two eldest sons. I've known him for many years. We still need to look for such fathers.”

“Yura did repairs for us. Now he has flown to Moscow and his partner is finishing his work. Apart from words of gratitude, we cannot say anything to Kalinichenko. He is an excellent master. Yura also did renovations at his home, various extensions to make Natasha feel comfortable. He always worked to order. It wasn't that easy to hire him. The drunk would not have received orders.”

“Kalinichenko did repairs at my house and at my parents’ house in parts. Lasted about a year construction works. During all this time we never saw him drunk. We wouldn’t mess with drunks.”

“I saw Yuri after what happened at the Polytechnic. He was absolutely sober. Only very lost, in a state of shock. When local media began asking townspeople where the information came from that Yuri was drinking, everyone shrugged their shoulders: “Well, they say on TV.”

Local media shot a video with neighbors of the Kalinichenko family. Posted online.

This is what neighbor Lina Pogrebnaya said: “Yura raised his daughter without a mother. He taught the child and never left her. And he registered his daughter for college, he fussed with Natasha with the documents.

Natasha in childhood

I have known Natasha from a young age. The mother is somewhere on the run, hiding from child support payments.

Yura never abused alcohol. There were no quarrels or drunkenness in his family.

We have lived in the same house since 1969. We also know Yuri himself from childhood, we remember how he grew up. Even in his youth he was not mischievous and never got into any trouble. Then he got married. Natasha was born. If there was something, it would not have passed our eyes.

Yura is a normal guy, hard-working. Before leaving for Moscow, he said that he would take any job in the capital in order to be close to Natasha. He always took care of his daughter. Yura is her only one dear person. They still had a grandfather, he lived across the street, he died recently. Apart from Yurka, I don’t know any other close relatives of Natasha.

When the terrorist attack happened, Yuri immediately ran to the hospital, our neighbor saw him there. When Natasha was taken to Moscow, he was in touch with the clinic all the time. I've lost a lot of weight. He had never asked anyone for money before. Didn't even borrow it. He earned everything himself with his own labor. Yuri is the only breadwinner in the family. Natasha was always dressed neatly and always cheerful.” Source

Terrorists or victims?

Russian teenage terror in schools and at the doors of the FSB: protest to death?

Terror and teenagers: why has it become possible to say that over the past 4 years, high school students have become heroes and characters in crime dramas with fatalities?

“The Arkhangelsk case” of a young anarchist suicide. The history of the “Kerch shooter”. How are teenage terrorism related? modern politics in Russia global world? What terrible message do teenage killers send to the adult world?

Anti-state sentiments, protest activity of adults and adolescent extreme forms of rebellion against school, parents and the state.

In the studio, Alexander Verkhovsky, director of the SOVA information and analytical center, researcher of radical political movements in Russia, member of the Presidential Council for Human Rights; Lyubov Borusyak, sociologist, demographer, associate professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, leading researcher at the Institute of System Projects of Moscow City University; Mikhail Konev, politician.

The program is hosted by Elena Fanailova.

Elena Fanailova: B last weeks the conversation is about teenage terrorism, about why high school students, people from 14 to 18 years old take up arms, why do they take hostages, why do they shoot their fellow students and teachers in colleges? Why do they themselves become victims of the situation, the fact that they took up arms, or a dangerous social condition? We asked our colleagues to prepare some overview of how things stood for last years, why teenagers become the heroes of these scary crime dramas with fatal consequences.

Elena Fanailova: The most “interesting,” so to speak, in this reminder is the story of Pskov’s Romeo and Juliet, who defended something unknown with arms in their hands. Society does not understand whether it was a romantic story, whether it was a grudge against parents, or something else. Every time like this, social networks explode, every time we get either fictitious or actually hacked accounts of young people. And discussions begin about what were the psychological traits of this person, what were his views, and so on. Today, a court in Kaliningrad arrested a young man, although he is not 17 years old, he is older, but he allegedly acquits Mikhail of Arkhangelsk, now deceased, who, due to political convictions, detonated an explosive device, 300 grams TNT equivalent. How is this discussed, roughly speaking, outside the political context, among your friends and acquaintances, Mikhail?

Mikhail Konev: There are many cases listed here, and they are all completely different in motives and method of implementation.

Eltna Fanailova: The only thing that unites these people is the age of these people, which makes adults worry and think...

Mikhail Konev: ... that this is youth terrorism that has appeared in our country. If in some cases we're talking about about an act of revenge, an act of retribution for those who do not understand a teenager, we are talking about psychological problems, then in other cases we are talking, of course, about realizing one’s political position. The terrorist finds himself in a situation where he cannot in a legal way realize your Political Views, he has to take the wrong path, take a terrible path and commit terrible violence, die himself and harm a huge number of people. In the circles of young people, in the circles of politicians, and everywhere, probably, in the circles of adequate people, such situations are condemned. Everyone is trying to understand the reasons. This is the most important question, why young people do this, especially when it comes to political views. Many people, including myself, believe that an important problem is the lack of opportunity to realize one’s political views in a legal field. This is exactly what the authorities are doing now: this is a ban on rallies, this is the impossibility of realizing their civic position by participating in a peaceful protest, it may encourage young people to do some terrible things. Because they are really afraid of the FSB, they are afraid of the authorities, they understand that they do not have the opportunity to implement anarchist, liberal, democratic views in a legal way and are following this terrible erroneous path. I don’t understand how to overcome this. I believe that we need to work with teenagers, we need to explain to them other ways to realize our views, we need to somehow keep an eye on them.

Elena Fanailova: I have a question for Alexander in connection with the mention that one of the teenagers was going to blow something up during the “Russian March”. I have a feeling that terrorist methods, regardless of the beliefs of young people, whether they are left or right, are present in their environment, or are attributed by law enforcement officers to this category of young people. The ultra-left and ultra-right are dangerous, as law enforcement officers consider it, sit still, we will clean up everyone, just don’t go out into the streets.

Alexander Verkhovsky: It cannot be said that law enforcement agencies are completely wrong here. Indeed, there are different political trends, in any movement there is a youth segment. He's different. Roughly speaking, the percentage of teenagers and very young people, say under 20, among anarchists, I simply have no doubt, is significantly higher than among liberals.

Elena Fanailova: The nickname of this boy from Arkhangelsk was “Sergey Nechaev,” at least from what is known on the networks.

Alexander Verkhovsky: The romanticization of classic terrorism, be it from the time of Nechaev, from the time of the “Red Brigades”, whatever, it is, of course, present in the ultra-left environment, and in the ultra-right there is something else to romanticize. Actually, it's everywhere. If people want to see violence as inevitable in some situations, “all legal paths are closed, then we resort to violence,” they will find something to romanticize. The question is whether there will be people young, or not so young, who are ready to embody this in their personal biography, because this is a completely different matter than chatting about romantic times and heroic terrorists. You can see that this usually happens in waves. This is especially noticeable in the far-left movement, because it is smaller in number than the far-right, and the environment is more compact. After some noticeable events occur for this environment important events associated with the use of violence, with reprisals for this violence inevitable, then after a while the others think: no, it was probably something wrong. And there is less violence. Several years pass, new young people come, again they think about everything differently, and everything starts anew. And this is not the first or second time this has happened. On larger movements, on the far right, there are other factors that influence this, so the dynamics there are a little different. These waves are visible. I don't think there is any magical way to avoid this. Of course, not allowing people into politics with certain views, liberal, ultra-right, whatever, objectively pushes them to some kind of criminal actions. But this does not mean that they will agree to this, very few will do it anyway, and on the other hand, if everyone is allowed everywhere, this does not mean that there will be no terrorist actions. There will always be people who think that the legal path is not good enough, even though we are allowed everything, but the authorities zombify, manipulate, the system presses, nothing can be done except blow up.

Elena Fanailova: Love, what do you think of the demographics?

Lyubov Borusyak: Demographic has nothing to do with it, rather sociological. Notice what they said about this anarchist boy: that at first he wanted to blow up his college, and then he changed his mind. College, as we understand, and the FSB are completely different things. That is, it’s hard to say whether there really were ideological and political motives here, or whether he later tied them here in some way, because he didn’t want to start with that, but in much the same way as the guy in Kerch did. I went to my vocational school and used violence against my classmates and teachers, then I decided to do something differently. I would still very carefully say that this is precisely political radicalization. We see different motivations here; political, frankly speaking, is not in the first place. We're dealing with teenagers here. Teenagers, as we understand, are a very difficult age. One of the peaks of suicides traditionally always occurs at this age, the second age is the elderly. Old people are when you are lonely, your social life is over, a teenager is when there are a lot of hormones, a lot of problems, a feeling of misunderstanding on all sides. Previously, this was more likely expressed in acts of aggression, but now there are more cases when it is aggression coming outward. All American stories, when these tragedies occur, almost always involve bullying, and these are usually difficult family relationships. Here is a 14-year-old boy, whose father said that the guy did not have a bomb, but had some parts, but then he notes: “But I don’t know, I don’t live with him.” He doesn’t even know how his son lives. As a rule, this is not the most prosperous environment. This is some kind of bad relationship with parents, this feeling that life is over. Plus to this adolescence when you want to feel like a hero. There are other ways to realize internal dissatisfaction, in this case political. When I interviewed participants in two Navalny protests last year, there were older guys, mostly students, who talked about how they want to have their say, they are citizens, they are patriots, and so on. And there were high school students, and it was very important for them to feel like heroes. When you find yourself in a situation where the whole country is talking about you, for example, by blowing up something, there is probably no greater heroism, although at the cost of life. Schoolboys told me that they really wanted to be mated quickly, so that after that they could feel how cool they are, how brave they are, how wonderful they are, and everyone will admire them. I think the guys who come with bombs have the same feeling.

Mikhail Konev: It seems to me that this is heroism of a slightly different order. I experienced the heroism of Navalny’s actions myself: when you are detained, then you are the hero of your friends, everyone writes to you, very cool photographs. And here is heroism, the fruits of which you cannot use, because you die.

Lyubov Borusyak: That’s why I say that this is a latent craving for suicide, it’s here “to die, so with music.” I think many are in this state, I’m not sure that all of them at this time are in a difficult psychological state, when they do not fully understand what they are doing, and that completely innocent people are suffering.

Elena Fanailova: Since 2012, I have the feeling that teenage terrorism has a new background. The screws began to tighten after the protest movements, a sharp rejuvenation of street protest that we have been seeing for the last two years. It feels like a new generation is being recruited. It is recruited into everything, including relations with the state. Regarding the well-known speech of a Sverdlovsk official that “the state did not ask you to give birth,” the most common comment is: “that means we don’t owe this state anything.” It feels like “we don’t owe this state anything, or give us our rights.” I admit, Lyubov Fridrikhovna, that you are right when you say that there is a lot of teenage psychology behind this, but behind this there is also, it seems to me, a lot of historical political background.

Alexander Verkhovsky: There is some inaccuracy in the time calculation. Yes, since 2012 the background began to change in an obvious way, since 2014 it began to change even faster, if we look at the number of violent actions that were committed by some organized young people for ideological reasons, I don’t mean now school stories purely, purely psychological.

Elena Fanailova: I would like to remember the “coastal partisans” too.

Alexander Verkhovsky: “Partisans” is a little more complicated story, the “partisans,” as I understand it, had difficulties with ideological self-identification. It was more like revenge from the police for cruel treatment. Almost all of them went through unpleasant stories, most of them along the criminal line. Only two, in my opinion, were previously members of political groups. This is more of a reaction to bullying, but not at school, but at the next level, to police brutality. This, by the way, is also common reaction for many activists: they find themselves in a situation where they have a bad time. The background began to deteriorate sharply, undoubtedly, since 2012. If we look at street violence, it all peaked before 2012. All the carnage by the ultra-right is, of course, before that. The street war between antifa and neo-Nazis is also mostly before that. By 2012, the whole story about the Khimki forest had already passed, and all the main antifa figures were tied up, or they left, and it became quiet, this layer stopped fighting. What we see now is precisely the next generation of young people who have come into this environment. For several years nothing happened, roughly speaking. So I think that increased pressure and a sense of political hopelessness is a bit of an oversimplification. People lived until 2011, but what choice did they have? You might think we had freedom and democracy. But they had no impulse. Apart from narrow radical groups that lived their own lives, young people like these schoolchildren who go to Navalny’s rallies, it didn’t even occur to them to go anywhere, because they had nowhere to actually go. And when they come somewhere and encounter difficulties, it’s good if they were simply tied up, they satisfied the craving for personal heroism, and everything ended well. It may not end very well, as we know. A certain percentage of them are actually radicalized by this, and then some other stories happen. Not necessarily with these people. A person can hear a lot of stories about his acquaintances, even strangers, this one was beaten, something happened to this one, righteous anger boils over, and then he goes to blow something up. That is, this pressure from above does not affect immediately; there is a certain time lag.

Elena Fanailova: The level of street violence in the Soviet Union was quite high. I remember the city fights very well, it was just a sign of the times. If there were social networks then, this would have been on them for sure, but in the official press you would never have known anything about it. However, such egregious cases, when a teenager with a weapon in his hands comes to his vocational school and shoots someone, were out of the question. Despite the fact that it cannot be said that weapons were unavailable in those days. In cities like Volgograd, the former Stalingrad, there were old weapons; teenagers had access to this, of course, illegally. What terrible feature has appeared? It is no coincidence that the Kerch story is compared with the Columbine case. There is no feeling that for young people there is this terrible but famous experience of Hollywood, which perpetuates such stories, or am I making it up?

Mikhail Konev: I don’t think so. I can’t answer for all young people, but Columbine was a long time ago, there were many more stories before Columbine and there were stories after it. There were books, Stephen King, the book “Rage”, which was written about how a young man came into his class with a gun. It seems to me that this is some kind of outburst of emotions of these young people, a very scary outburst of their aggression, their psychological conflict is incredible, if we talk about Kerch. There was no politics there, there was psychological trauma, there was bullying, the person was trying to take revenge. He didn’t care who he took revenge on, he wanted to take revenge on the whole world, he took revenge on the whole world in this way, and then in the end he killed himself. Therefore, the story here is beyond politics. American stories in general, almost always outside of politics, I don’t remember anyone being killed there political reasons. All these stories have existed for a long time, films have existed for a long time, the Estonian film “Class” has existed for a long time. If people wanted to follow an example, they would have taken it long ago. It seems to me that the issue here is not about globalization; I do not agree with you and the president here. Putin also connected this with globalization.

Elena Fanailova: I propose to see what Muscovites think about teenagers and weapons.

It is reported that the page of Roslyakov, who was registered under the nickname “Anatoly Smirnov,” was hacked by hackers.

In one of the letters, he hints at an impending suicide, which will be preceded by a “great graduation.”

In other posts, he also admits that he has turned into a complete nihilist and explains the meaning of this word to those who do not understand. He also complains about having no friends and no interests in life other than guns.

“Seven victims out of 26 initially hospitalized in Crimean hospitals remain under inpatient treatment in medical institutions in Crimea, three in Kerch and four in Simferopol, five of them are children. The condition of two people is of moderate severity, five are mild,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
As of Friday morning, 10 victims remained in Crimean medical institutions.

Crimean authorities reported that last week completed payments from the republican budget of 500 thousand rubles to victims of the explosion at the Kerch Polytechnic College, a total of 26 million rubles were paid.

He was not alone: the expert questioned the official version of the massacre in Kerch

There are eyewitness accounts on the Internet who say that shots were fired from two places at once at a college in Kerch.

The man who carried out the shooting and explosion at the Kerch Polytechnic College could not act alone. An expert from the Kyiv Scientific Institute spoke about this forensic examinations Yuri Irkhin, commenting on the official version of the Russian investigation about the events in Kerch on October 17, reports “Krym.Realii”.

The expert came to this conclusion after analyzing the circumstances of the armed attack on college students. Irkhin drew attention to the number of dead and wounded. In his opinion, such a number of victims can only happen if the attacker “did not act alone.”

"Based big picture happened, he most likely did not act alone. Because it's too complex mechanism- the forensic mechanism for committing this mass murder. And there are a lot of inconsistencies. There are eyewitness accounts on the Internet who say that shots were fired from two places at once. Naturally, from this we can draw a logical conclusion that he did not act alone. I am inclined to think that he did not act alone, because there were too many victims and the locus of defeat was too large,” Irkhin said. Source

A specialist has compiled a psychological portrait of the killer from Kerch

Vladislav Roslyakov, who carried out the explosion and shooting at the Kerch Polytechnic College, was fixated on the desire to take revenge, says Evgeniy Cherny, professor, dean of the faculty of psychology at the Crimean Federal University named after V.I. Vernadsky, a specialist in social and educational psychology.

“Only a young man, insecure, with low self-esteem (which is often disguised as self-confidence and ambition), feeling alienated and rejected,” he told RIA Novosti, could do this.
In his opinion, the reason for committing the crime could have been insignificant.

“Resentment, the desire to level the situation towards subjectively understood justice, give rise to a thirst for revenge,” the psychologist emphasized.

According to Cherny, Roslyakov behaved quietly and calmly, but “an internal explosion was brewing inside him.”

“He was stuck on the goal of doing something terrible and taking revenge, so he did not open up to people and led an isolated lifestyle, carefully preparing for the crime,” the psychologist said.
On October 17, fourth-year student Vladislav Roslyakov started shooting and detonated a bomb at the Kerch Polytechnic College. Twenty people died, among them fifteen students and five employees of the educational institution. More than fifty people were injured.

Initially, a criminal case was opened for a terrorist attack, but later it was reclassified as an article about the murder of two or more persons in a generally dangerous way.

Roslyakov committed suicide in the college library. A month ago, he passed all medical examinations, including a check with a psychiatrist, and received permission to store weapons.

Currently, 42 people remain in hospital treatment, including 25 children. 12 people, including 7 children, have been discharged. 13 people, including 10 children, were treated on an outpatient basis.

According to him, there are 21 people in medical organizations of the republic. In medical organizations in Moscow there are 12 people, of which seven are children, in the Krasnodar Regional Hospital No. 1 - nine people, of which five are children (one adult and one child are severe, three adults and four children are mild). Everyone has lacerations lower limbs, open fractures of the legs, thermal burns. Four children were treated at the Children's Clinical Regional Hospital of Krasnodar and have already been discharged for outpatient treatment.

Shuvalov also said that among the victims was a contract sergeant. “In the Main Military Clinical Hospital named after Academician N.N. Burdenko of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation there is one adult of moderate severity with a gunshot wound to the back and lumbar region. This is a sergeant in the contract service of the Ministry of Defense, a part-time student at a technical school who was at the session,” he said.

People who witnessed the massacre organized by Vladislav Roslyakov continue to insist that the killer did not work himself.

On the occupied peninsula, a version is gaining popularity that soldiers from an unknown special unit also operated in the educational institution, who were allegedly sent to eliminate the Kerch shooter.

However, the occupation authorities in every possible way reject any accusations. “I declare to you in the presence of the press. No one was driven there with weapons,” says Kremlin puppet Sergei Aksenov.

“There wasn’t just one shooter at the college, there were several. They shot from several sides at the same time, they simply shot,” says an eyewitness to the bloody massacre.

“Someone was trying to apprehend the shooter, someone started running away, someone was shot in the legs. They fired from several sides, that’s for sure,” said another eyewitness to the tragedy in Kerch.

In addition, military expert Yuri Kolesnikov also demolished the official version of events from the occupiers. According to him, for one person the effectiveness of the terrorist attack was simply extraordinary.

“In a room of this size, can you single-handedly shoot so many people in 15 minutes? Very strange. But the victims do not stand still...”, the expert assures.

As previously reported, new details have emerged about the bloody massacre at Kerch College, which was organized by Vladislav Roslyakov. This information was provided by sources close to the investigators who are overseeing this scandalous case.

It is noted that security forces found a Molotov cocktail in the bag of Kerch shooter Roslyakov after the massacre. Occupation law enforcement officials claim that the college student planned to burn down the building after the shooting. In addition, 10 small improvised explosive devices of the “throwing type” and 13 cartridges for a gun were found in his belongings. Source

Today, four victims of the explosion at the Kerch Polytechnic College were discharged from hospitals in Kerch and Simferopol. This was reported by the press service of the Republican Ministry of Health.

As a representative of the press service noted in an interview with RIA Novosti, all four discharged are girls. Two of them, aged 15 and 17 years, were treated in the Kerch children's hospital, another two, aged 18 and 28 years, were in the 6th city hospital of Simferopol.

Currently, there are another 21 victims in medical institutions in Kerch and Simferopol. Their condition is assessed as stable. Source

If you promised them a reward of 10 million rubles, they would line up

The massacre carried out by Vladislav Roslyakov at the Kerch Polytechnic College is a nightmare for the entire city. After all, 70 people were injured! Everyone has parents, relatives, friends, classmates, classmates - thus, the number of people associated with the victims is in the thousands. It is a prominent part of the city with a population of 150,000 people. Suffice it to say that more than thirty thousand came to the funeral!

But besides the fact that what happened was a tragedy for the people of Kerch, the tragedy became a powerful slap in the face for the authorities - both regional and federal. The fact that an eighteen-year-old boy who did not serve in the army and has no military training, did this alone, speaks of complete incapacity local authorities in the field of public safety. A subsequent inspection showed that this situation was in 90% of educational institutions throughout the peninsula. And this is already a slap in the face federal authorities- for four years there have been many shouts that “Crimea is ours,” but in fact the republic’s infrastructure has not been brought up to federal standards.

This tragedy once again showed the people of Russia, and the whole world, what is hidden behind the glossy picture that is shown to us on TV.

Of course, both federal and regional authorities something needs to be done to “save face.” But what?

Well, guess three times in which direction they will “look for the enemies” who “organized the terrorist attack”? Give me a compass?

Well, of course, who doubted it - we definitely need to find a “Ukrainian trace” in this story.

As one would expect, information leaks began immediately.

This was facilitated by a lack of information, a huge number of victims and general panic. No one could believe that there was only one criminal: “How could he do this? He’s a young guy, he didn’t serve in the army, he doesn’t have any training.” “Someone stood behind him, he was instructed, he was supplied with TNT.”

However, very soon the investigation was forced to admit that “the student alone made explosive devices, one of which exploded. In preparation for the crime and during the commission of the crime, he acted alone, that is, he was both the organizer and the perpetrator of the crime.”

The news spread across all the media, but officials and politicians could not calm down and continued to look for “accomplices,” “mentors,” “instigators,” etc.

Immediately, “data” was found that “the Kerch shooter Roslyakov supported Ukraine and insulted Novorossiya.”

Some “researchers” discovered accounts of Vladislav Roslyakov on social networks, the data from which was skillfully deleted, but they managed to find old comments in which, I emphasize, Vladislav Roslyakov seemed to express sharply nationalistic views of a pro-Ukrainian kind: “I remember how in 2016 Roslyakov mocked the militias from Donbass, he did not hide the fact that he supported the Ukrainian National Guard. On this basis, people fought with him,” says one of the public participants. “Roslyakov answered sharply, rudely and was confident that he was right.”

Regarding the “pro-Ukrainian trace” I will say: complete nonsense! I would like to especially emphasize: this is my, German Pyatov’s, personal opinion, based on extensive knowledge, great life experience and a thorough study of all available materials about this tragedy.

There is no evidence that such views (supporting Ukraine and insulting Novorossiya) were expressed by the same Vladislav Roslyakov who carried out the massacre at the college. Firstly, such harshness of statements absolutely contradicts the psychological portrait that is piece by piece formed from the statements of numerous acquaintances, relatives, classmates and classmates of the Kerch shooter. Secondly, and more clearly, the media, in pursuit of sensations, have already “discovered” the accounts of as many as three Vladislav Roslyakovs, who, as it turned out, have nothing to do with the shooter.

In addition to the topic of “pro-Ukrainian nationalism” by Vladislav Roslyakov, certain military mentors of the Kerch shooter come up. The vector of their speeches is clear, I quote: “I met someone on the Internet, started asking about weapons and, perhaps, due to my unhealthy interest, got on someone’s radar”, “There are a lot of dubious people on the Internet, they could start processing young guy."

All these are speculative assumptions of a man, a veteran of the Chechen war, with whom Vladislav Roslyakov talked for several years on the topic of weapons and where to get them.

Of course, if there is a great desire, then such “bad guys from the Internet” can always be “found” - if there is a desire.

There is no need to guess how this is done: the competent authorities have a wealth of experience dating back to the times of Stalin’s trials of “enemies of the people.” Then old Bolsheviks with party experience greater than the age of the NKVD investigators who tortured them were forced to admit that they were agents of all imperialist intelligence services: Polish, German, British, Japanese, etc.

Now, if a command comes from above, our valiant authorities will find someone with a criminal record from veterans of local wars, with whom the “Kerch shooter” played online tactical game“trench”, press hard - and here you have a ready-made “accomplice” of the “Kerch shooter”, or even immediately the “Ukrainian neo-Nazi underground”.

But it could have been made even simpler: to promise those who recognize themselves as “accomplices” of the “Kerch shooter” 10 million rubles - and those who wish would line up. “Wise” economic policy has brought the people in the regions to such a state of poverty that, probably, even for a lesser amount there would be people willing to go to prison for life. Imagine the father of a family who has a mortgage hanging around his neck like a noose, which he has nothing to repay: the only factory in the city was closed due to the crisis, there is no other job, three children, a sick wife. You never know how difficult life situations are: in the regions, quite prosperous parents send their children to orphanages for at will. In some orphanages there are more than half of these children. What, is this news to you?

In fact, in this story, the versions of the “Ukrainian trace”, “radical Islamic trace”, “opposition trace” are bullshit!

Any extremist who decided to carry out such an act of intimidation would make it clear who did it and why, and would voice some demands. And why such difficulties with the shooter, when you can simply detonate an IED - as you can see, in Crimea it is not difficult to do it and carry it through. They could blow it up every day. No terrorist in his right mind would get involved with such a format as what happened at the Kerch college.

But what actually happened in college? And did the shooter have mentors? Yes, the shooter had mentors. True, I’m not sure that it will be possible to prosecute them for complicity. There is no doubt that Vladislav Roslyakov used the Estonian film “Class” as a script for his action, based on the massacre of Columbine school students (see Wikipedia). Perhaps the “Kerch shooter” watched other films based on this American tragedy. According to the mother, “a few days before the massacre, the student watched videos on the computer about shootings at various schools.”

Of course, it is stupid to blame globalization and the “bad American example” for everything. The cause of the tragedy is the fertile psychological soil on which these grains fell.

The main reason that forced Vladislav Roslyakov to go kill was his entire unhappy life from birth. He speaks about this directly to a veteran of the Chechen war, from whom he tried to find out how to get weapons: “My life is bad, I don’t even want to talk about it.”

It was the combination of the hopelessness of life, the eternal rejection by society of Vlad Roslyakov and the influence of marginal youth subcultures that formed the formula for the Kerch massacre. Source

A friend of the “Kerch shooter” denied his parents’ “dislike”: the girls liked him too

And in college, Roslyakov was often placed on the so-called “chair of shame”

The further the investigation into the high-profile case in Kerch progresses, the more questions arise related to the person who organized and committed the terrible crime. At a meeting with the parents of the victims, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, made it clear that Vladislav Roslyakov acted alone in the college. There were no accomplices nearby. The question of whether someone helped him in preparation hung in the air.

If in the first days after the tragedy the killer’s former friends went into the shadows and kept their memories to themselves, now they are talking.

We contacted the man whom Roslyakov considered his best friend. True, it was still school years. The young man talked about the life of his friend and refuted many of the arguments that had been made earlier.

Classmates, fellow students, acquaintances of Vladislav Roslyakov, even two weeks after the terrorist attack, do not want their names to be heard in the press. Before publishing the interview, our interlocutor immediately stipulates the conditions: “Only anonymously.”

Just three years ago, Alexey (name changed) considered Roslyakov his best friend. Actually, like Vlad did. Friends sat at the same school desk, free time spent time together, the two of us also attended the sports section. There were no secrets from each other.

- When was the last time you talked to him?

The last time we spoke with Vlad was more than two years ago,” Alexey began the conversation. - Then everything was fine, I didn’t notice any strange things about him. After school, we separated and our friendship ended. This happens often. Teenagers change their place of study, and new friends appear.

But did you maintain virtual communication? On Roslyakov’s social network page, you were marked as your best friend until the very end.

Virtual communication also occurred sporadically. I remember a year ago, out of curiosity, I looked at his page on the social network and was surprised. Vlad often posted photos with swastikas, weapons, and some strange quotes. I had never noticed anything like this about him before. I never visited his page again.

- They say that for the last two years Roslyakov spent all his free time on the computer. How was it at school?

At school he also spent a lot of time on the computer. He and I played various harmless games together. True, we walked a lot more. 3-4 times a week for sure.

- Did he like girls?

This is a strange moment in his biography. For some reason, Vlad did not want to communicate with girls at all, he even avoided them. I remember one evening we went swimming with him at the sea. Three girls invited us to go for a walk later. I agreed. Vlad’s reaction surprised me - he never agreed to go with the girls. In the end, we refused them. And similar things happened to Vlad often. He avoided female companies. Although girls were drawn to him, some even liked him. Then it seemed to me that he had serious complexes about this.

- IN sports section did you study together too?

Yes, we went to the rocking chair together for quite a long time. Vlad was obsessed with sports, he took training seriously. It was there that he made friends with guys who were much older than him; they were 20–22 years old at the time. Vlad had to give up the rocking chair when his hand began to hurt badly and he could no longer lift heavy dumbbells.

“The father gave his son money”

- Did you know his parents well?

Certainly. And I can say that everything that is now written about his parents is not true. Many blame his parents for what happened, saying that they did not love the child in childhood. This is wrong. His parents loved him, and he reciprocated. Vlad has a warm relationship with his mother. His mother - ordinary woman, not strict, adored her son, they practically never quarreled. By the way, they spent a lot of time together. It seemed to me that Vlad shared his experiences, problems and joys with her. Her son was everything to her, as she said. She had no friends, no relatives, she divorced her husband, and, in fact, she had no one to talk to except her son. Vlad understood this and tried to devote time to his mother.

- Could the sect where his mother went influence Roslyakov’s worldview and psyche?

His mother joined the sect out of despair; she thought she would find friends there or find a way out of poverty. And the fact that Jehovah's Witnesses (an extremist organization banned in Russia. - Auto.) could have influenced Vlad - nonsense. His mother actually asked her son to attend sect meetings on Fridays. But he went there just so as not to upset her. Sometimes I also went to events with him so that he wouldn’t get bored. There, of course, they were talking complete nonsense. Vlad and I joked more, and then he joked a lot about the “witnesses.” So he wasn't involved in a cult.

One of the participants in the Kerch branch of the sect explained that Vlad Roslyakov really was not inspired by the ideas of the “witnesses”: “There are sects that use the processing of a person’s thinking and his psyche, the so-called destructive ones. Jehovah's Witnesses are a constructive organization; they could not induce people to kill. I myself was a member of the organization for 20 years, and from my sources I found out that Roslyakov was not an adherent of the sect. His mother tried to interest him, even took him to Kharkov twice to attend the congress, but he showed no interest.”

- Roslyakov and his mother lived in the same room?

Mom rented a one-room apartment. At one time they even slept in the same bed, because there was very little space in the room. There was nowhere to turn around.

- Did your friend have a complex because of poverty?

Yes, everyone in Kerch lives poorly. I won’t say that Roslyakov’s family was begging - there was enough money for clothes, food and a rocking chair. He did not ask his mother for anything for personal expenses. But Vlad’s dad often gave him some money. A father even once allocated 3 thousand rubles for protein to his son. True, it happened once. Now neighbors say that his father beat Roslyakov and that he drank heavily. But Vlad didn’t tell me anything like that. I know that he was in close contact with his father. He often visited him. I also sometimes visited his father. Vlad talked to him a lot during his life. He trusted his father. Perhaps Roslyakov spent even more time with his father than with his mother. And one more thing - the father never offended his son, never raised a hand against him, that’s for sure. Vlad did not complain about his plight. He was a cheerful, sociable guy, we hung out a lot, laughed, walked, and didn’t think about money.

- Did he work somewhere?

At the time we talked, he didn’t need money.

According to MK, Roslyakov started working part-time two years ago. You can find his resume on the Internet. Last summer he was looking for a job as a courier and got a job handing out advertising leaflets.

“Vlad tried to get everyone interested in the Columbine theme.”

- Was Roslyakov jealous of someone?

There is no one to particularly envy in Kerch. And the feeling of envy is not a story about Vlad.

- Didn’t you talk about suicide?

He also did not have thoughts of suicide.

- Did he have any friends in Ukraine?

In my presence, he did not leave Crimea anywhere. I didn’t talk about Ukrainian relatives or friends either.

- Why did he leave school after 9th grade?

Because I was a bad student. There was no point in staying in school any longer. The teachers already “gave” him positive marks for the certificate.

- Did he dream about something?

I didn't dream of anything.

- Are you interested in weapons?

I wasn't seriously interested. It wasn't until he got a laptop that he became hooked on a game where you could disassemble and reassemble weapons. He told me that he was just interested.

- Was Roslyakov secretive?

On the contrary, he was a very frank guy. He didn't hide anything from me, that's for sure.

- Besides you, was he friends with someone else?

He had plenty of friends. We had a trinity - no water spilled. At school, Vlad communicated closely with two other guys. The girls were drawn to him.

After the tragedy, Roslyakov’s classmate posted a correspondence with him, where he talked about how he would like to organize a massacre in college, and talked about his sympathy for maniacs.

Yes, it was our classmate Elena (name changed) who corresponded with him. After the incident, the correspondence went online. I'll tell you how it was. Two years ago, Lena asked me to take down his page on the Internet. Then she wrote to him. Vlad immediately began writing to her about Columbine. We didn’t even know such a word before. It seemed as if someone had told him all this and had been brainwashing him with this topic for two years. He also tried to get all his acquaintances who contacted him on the Internet interested in this topic. He couldn't talk about anything else. It was for this reason that all our mutual friends moved away from him. It was impossible to listen to this all the time. He couldn't talk about anything else.

It turns out that for the last two years none of his acquaintances knew anything about Roslyakov’s personal life? Has anyone from your previous company met him?

This is what is strange. For the last two years, no one really saw him, we didn’t even meet him in the city. He didn’t go to the cafe, and they didn’t see him at the movies either. Not a single person saw him. Last year, a mutual friend of ours happened to meet him at a bus stop. I wanted to approach him. Roslyakov pretended that they did not know each other. He turned away demonstratively. He was self-absorbed and clearly did not want to communicate with him. Our friend didn’t bother to talk to him.

“The mother in the psychiatric clinic wanted to commit suicide”

- Theoretically, Roslyakov could assemble a bomb on his own? Was he diligent, did he understand chemistry?

I could assemble a bomb. Moreover, there are detailed instructions on the Internet. Buying gunpowder, as I understand it, is also not a problem. I saw a video where an experienced shooter said that if a person has a weapons license, then he can easily buy gunpowder. But Roslyakov had big problems with chemistry; the subject was not given to him at school. But Vlad had a lot of perseverance. He was stubborn. I went to the goal until the end.

- Was he aggressive?

I only fought once at school. In the seventh grade, I started a fight right in class. But in general, he rarely showed aggression, but he was also not noticed in any good deeds.

- Could Roslyakov be bullied at college?

This is nonsense. He is not the kind of person who can be hounded. And even if they had poisoned him, he would not have killed people because of it.

One of Vladislav Roslyakov’s classmates suggested that the reason for the terrorist attack could be the fact that Vladislav often sat on the “chair of shame”, where the college director put careless students and scolded them. The parents of the students confirmed that the college indeed has a certain “chair of shame” - the director of the educational institution told parents in detail about it at meetings. We caught up with a college graduate who often sat in the “chair of shame.” “This is all nonsense,” says Arkady. - It’s the same as if your boss called you to the carpet at work. So we were called into the director’s office. Opposite the director's desk are chairs that are called "chairs of shame." A guilty student would come in, and they would say to him: “You, Ivanov, were rude in class, sit down on the chair of shame.” Then all the teachers gather and begin to scold the student for poor studies or behavior. Nothing wrong with that. “Chair of Shame” is kind of a humorous name, all the students just laugh at it.”

- When you found out that Roslyakov carried out a massacre at the college, what did you think about?

It seemed to me that this was a bad dream. I didn’t believe it right away. We then discussed what happened for a long time with our mutual friends, we are sure that Vlad himself could not decide on this, someone pushed him, manipulated him.

- Did the investigators interrogate you?

They interrogated. They asked the same questions as you. They also asked where he could have stored explosives. But I don't know anything about this.

- Is Roslyakov’s mother still in a psychiatric clinic?

Yes, she's in the hospital. While I was being interrogated, the police received a call that there was smoke in her room. I don’t know what to think, maybe she never gave up thoughts of committing suicide? Or did someone else set the ward on fire?

- Is anything known about the funeral of Roslyakov himself?

According to rumors, he will be buried in some free plot of an almost abandoned cemetery. I wanted to go to his funeral myself. I know that three other guys were planning it, but now there’s no one to ask about the funeral. I asked family friends, but no one knows. Grandparents don't know either. The father never showed up at home after the incident.

According to her, both of them were disliked by their classmates. Roslyakov believed that those around him hated him.

“He and I were both outcasts,” the girl said.

A couple of weeks before the tragedy at college, Roslyakov showed her a vacant lot on the outskirts of Kerch, where he practiced shooting. Roslyakov kept weapons in an abandoned house in a vacant lot. According to the girl, it was there that Vladislav told her that he was planning to blow up the college.

“He said that he wanted to organize Columbine so that the whole world would talk about him. But I thought Vlad was joking. She waved him off: “Stop lying!” the girl said.

Roslyakov also made the girl promise that she would not tell anyone about the weapon. The guy picked up the shell casings that fell on the vacant lot and took them with him.

Let us remind you that on October 17, an explosion and shooting occurred at the Polytechnic College in Kerch. 21 people were killed, including the suspect. The body of Vladislav Roslyakov was discovered in the college building. Another explosive device, which law enforcement officers were able to defuse, and ammunition were found next to him. Three days of mourning were declared in Crimea in connection with the tragedy. Source

Kerch shooter warned of mass murder

Roslyakov showed his friend the vacant lot where he practiced shooting and admitted to preparing an explosion.

A few weeks before the massacre took place at the Kerch Polytechnic College, 18-year-old student Vladislav Roslyakov told his girlfriend about plans to carry out a massacre - so that the whole world would talk about him. The same friend reported this, writes the FAN agency with reference to Komsomolskaya Pravda.

Roslyakov even showed the girl a vacant lot on the outskirts of the city, where he kept weapons, learned to shoot, and demanded that she remain silent about what she saw. The girl added that the guy also told her about plans to cause an explosion. She assured that she took it all as a joke and brushed off the warnings. Source

Another teenager was hospitalized after an attack on a college in Kerch

One teenager was hospitalized on Friday in a Kerch hospital after an explosion and shooting at a college; now 25 people are in medical institutions in Crimea, the press service of the regional Ministry of Health told TASS.

“Today another teenager went to the clinic in Kerch, he was hospitalized at the Kerch hospital. [His condition is assessed as] mild. 25 people are undergoing hospital treatment in Crimean medical institutions,” the interlocutor said.

Kerch nine days later. How a city copes with the college massacre

In Kerch, they commemorate those killed at the Polytechnic College. Several families came to the city cemetery to remember the dead children and place fresh flowers on their graves. Cars drove up and stopped right next to the graves.

The victims of the October 17 tragedy are essentially buried outside the city cemetery, which has long been abandoned free space. At the new burial area, outside the cemetery fence, last week they hastily cleared the area, covered it with gravel and dug up nine graves.

Initially, the Crimean authorities stated that all those killed during the massacre at the Kerch Polytechnic Institute would be buried together, but most families decided to take the bodies of their relatives for burial in their homeland. Two dead college teachers - Svetlana Baklanova and her daughter Anastasia - were buried in Kuban, where they were from. As a result, there are only nine graves at the general burial ground in Kerch - and all of them are children’s.

Relatives of the victims refuse to talk to the press. Some are simply unable to do so, they only ask not to interfere with them remembering their loved ones, some are openly angry at the attention of journalists. “Have you completely lost your conscience?” — a woman with a bouquet of flowers shouts, getting out of the car, thereby making it clear in advance that her family is not ready for any communication. But when asked to tell how they would remember the dead, some still responded. Source

In Crimea, they spoke about the condition of the victims at the Kerch college

The condition of 24 victims of the explosion and shooting at a Kerch college, hospitalized in medical institutions on the peninsula, it is stable and does not cause concern, the regional Ministry of Health told RIA Novosti.

“In hospitals in Simferopol and Kerch, 24 people who were injured at a college in Kerch remain inpatient treatment. Everyone’s condition is stable,” the department said.
The regional Ministry of Health noted that all patients are showing positive dynamics in recovery.

The government paid assistance to the families of those killed at Kerch College

Eleven families whose relatives died as a result of the tragedy at the Kerch Polytechnic College have already received 1 million rubles from the Russian government’s reserve fund, the Ministry of Labor and social protection Republic of Crimea.

Earlier, the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, reported that the families of those killed and injured at the college began to receive assistance from the state. From the Crimean budget, 1 million rubles were allocated to the families of the victims, and 500 thousand rubles - to the families of the victims. At the same time, the families of the victims will also receive 1 million rubles from the federal budget, and the families of the victims, depending on the severity, will receive from 200 to 400 thousand rubles.

Aksenov emphasized that assistance from the Crimean budget was paid in full to the families of the victims.

“As of October 24, from the reserve fund of the government of the Russian Federation, payments were made to 11 families of those killed in the explosion of 1 million rubles for a total amount of 11 million rubles and a one-time funeral benefit in the amount of 18 thousand rubles for a total amount of 198 thousand rubles,” - the message says.

At the same time, payments were made from the republican budget to 28 families of victims - 500 thousand rubles each.

Patrushev named the cause of the massacre at Kerch college

The cause of the massacre at the Kerch Polytechnic College was deficiencies in educational work with young people. This was stated by Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, RIA Novosti reports.

“I would like to draw attention to improving the quality of preventative work with young people, ensuring safety educational institutions. The tragedy that occurred last week was indicative from the point of view of the ineffective organization of this work,” he said during a meeting in the Novosibirsk region.

Later, Roslyakov’s goal became known: first of all, he was going to kill the director of the institution, Olga Grebennikova, his mother said. Investigators are looking into whether management knew about the student's intentions. A criminal case may be initiated against Grebennikova under the article “Negligence”. Source

The whole country saw these terrible images. A video of the massacre of the Kerch shooter was published on the Internet. The killer can be seen calmly entering the building. There are unsuspecting students and teachers around. After some time, an explosion is heard. Glass and doors are flying to the sides. Frightened people try to take cover or escape.

Meanwhile, the killer Vladislav Roslyakov walks along the corridors. He kills everyone who gets in his way and spares no one. In one of the frames, the killer is in an empty auditorium. Then he opens fire on the computers. Then he looks around, reloads his weapon and leaves the classroom.

Twenty-year-old resident of Kerch Armen Badalyan was found under the window of his apartment on the evening of October 19. Badalyan met with Victoria Demchuk, one of the victims of Vladislav Roslyakov, who carried out an explosion and mass shooting at a local college. A farewell ceremony for those killed in the terrorist attack in Kerch is taking place in Crimea: photos have appeared

In Kerch, more than 30 thousand people took part in the farewell ceremony for the victims of the explosion and shooting at the polytechnic college. This was reported by the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea, Kryminform reports.

Master of Death. The student could have been sent to the slaughterhouse in Kerch by his curator

There is a funeral in Kerch today. A funeral farewell ceremony is taking place in the city center, on Lenin Square. As several days pass, people increasingly rethink what is happening. Security officials still have not discounted the version that the main accused, 18-year-old Vladislav Roslyakov, had an experienced curator. First of all, this is due to the fact that the guy spent quite a lot of money on buying weapons and ammunition, which his family did not have anyway. In addition, it would be difficult for him alone to buy the components and assemble such a number of homemade bombs at home. The motives for the attack remain in question, so it is possible that someone equipped him, prepared him and sent him to kill.

This version appeared among the security forces almost immediately and was considered along with others. Now it is being worked out by operatives of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Such a curator, for example, could be a person from the Ukrainian special services, who have repeatedly sent saboteurs to Crimea. Or a person who, using psychological state Roslyakov and suggestibility, for some reason convinced him to carry out a kind of mass execution of polytechnic students. So far, the security forces have no evidence that Roslyakov had any personal reasons to take revenge on teachers or students. All these options are currently being tested. Source

The Investigative Committee published a video of the inspection of the crime scene at the Kerch Polytechnic College

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin arrived on a working trip to the Republic of Crimea in connection with the massacre that occurred at the Kerch Polytechnic College on October 17.

The head of the department held an operational meeting with his deputies Igor Krasnov and Boris Karnaukhov, the heads of the investigation team, and representatives of other law enforcement agencies, at which he heard a report on the first results of the investigation and gave a number of specific instructions regarding the further progress of the investigation.

In particular, Alexander Bastrykin instructed, as part of the investigation, to establish all the circumstances and reasons that led to tragic events in Kerch. “It is necessary to study the situation in Roslyakov’s family, what kind of relationship he had with close relatives, to find out whether this family was in social dangerous situation, whether the young man had previously shown aggression and other inappropriate actions, whether there were any other warning signs about his health and behavior, and whether the necessary measures were taken by relevant services, including medical workers, to prevent and eliminate them. It is important to find out the reason for the attacker’s aggression,” noted the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Also, on behalf of Alexander Bastrykin, investigators will have to find out what psychological situation was created within the walls of the college, Roslyakov’s social circle, was comprehensive pedagogical and psychological work carried out both with him and with other students. Investigators will also establish the presence of crisis centers and the effectiveness of their functioning in the city. Another question that investigators from the Russian Investigative Committee have to establish is how well the leisure time for college students was organized, the range of clubs and sections, and whether classes were conducted on the patriotic education of youth.

Also, the investigative group was instructed to carefully study issues related to the organization of security in an educational institution; compliance with the procedure for Roslyakov obtaining a weapons permit; the origin of the explosive devices that he brought into the college, and other aspects relating to the circumstances of the crime.

A neighbor spoke about the oddities of the Kerch shooter

Vladislav Roslyakov was a cruel boy from childhood and had a penchant for weapons. His neighbor told RT about this. According to her, once he even shot at her legs.

She also said that Vladislav was “strange”, like his father: he said strange things, went out into the street with a saber. She practically did not know the boy’s mother, but she assumes that she went to some kind of sect and took her son there.

At the same time, other friends and teachers talk about Vlad as a calm boy. “I studied well, quiet, very quiet, but uncommunicative... That’s all!” – says teacher Olga Mikhailichenko. Roslyakov had no friends.

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Crimea, Lyudmila Lubina, told RIA Novosti that before going to college, Vladislav professionally erased all data from his computer. According to her, when they tried to get the data from his computer, “it was so erased that you couldn’t take anything from your memory.”

The killer's motives remain unknown. It is also unclear where he got the money for the gun and ammunition.

“I didn’t communicate with anyone, I was closed off. The mother is heartbroken, the father is perplexed. I have no friends, I professionally erased all my information from my computer. These are the questions that have no answer,” Lubina said.

The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that the investigation is identifying the student’s possible accomplices. In his opinion, someone was preparing Roslyakov; he could not have caused the shooting and explosion alone. “Here he acted alone on the spot, this is already clear, he was established, but preparatory activities“, in my opinion, in the opinion of my colleagues, this scoundrel alone could not carry it out,” Aksenov said.

Polytechnic College teacher Elena Polyushkina shares the same opinion. She did not know Roslyakov personally. She believes that the guy was used. “I think we need to work harder with those who, unnoticed by society and quietly work with children through certain groups on the Internet,” she said.
