- If you think about this question, you can be convinced that 99% of all a person’s knowledge is a belief in something that has not been proven or justified by him personally. We believe that the structure of the atom is the same as you learned in school, or that light has a wave nature, and other laws of physics and chemistry. You cannot be sure in these matters, because... you cannot prove it personally, but you believe those who supposedly know a lot about it - scientists, teachers, etc.
- The whole life of people, apparently, consists of a certain belief in something. But, usually, people like to debate only about faith in God, and motivate this by the fact that the presence of God is unprovable, and the very belief in something that has not been proven is stupidity. If too much is already taken on faith - most of aspects of life, then the decision on how to come to God, for example, will be subject to skepticism.

How to gain faith in God
It doesn’t matter whether we are talking about faith in God, but every person constantly strives for something bigger and better in his life. Many believe that a person who is able to live as if his expectations or dreams have already been realized and fulfilled, such a person lives by faith. If there is a feeling of something invisible and incomprehensible, then the faith of such a person will become for him his conviction and confidence in life. When goals are achieved and dreams come true, or in other words, when an invisible desire to a certain extent becomes visible, then a person will no longer need faith in life as such. Then there will be confidence in the highest and best. But there are reasons that make faith necessary:
- If you think about it, you will come to the conclusion that every person necessarily believes in something in this life. Both atheism and communism are also a kind of faith on which the teaching by which people live is based, as in a real religion.
- The worldview of any person will be formed on the basis of his life attitudes and experiences, as well as the environment and all systems of values and ideas rooted in the society where a person lives and in which he is constantly located.
- Therefore, think about your life, about your education system, and whether they have justified their positive role in your life. If not, then think about something bigger and better for you personally.
- Religion is not a way of believing in God as such. After all, you can regularly attend church, but at the same time, not live according to the postulates. You need to learn to understand what faith can give you psychologically, how to support you and improve your life.
- Well, and, of course, try to do good deeds. This lies at the basis of faith and religion, of any kind, and at the basis of human attitudes towards others. - The main thing is what kind of person you are. It is generally accepted that all trials will benefit a person and strengthen him. It is desirable that this makes a person more noble, because... Having experienced your own suffering, it is easier to understand others and help with them. This is also not so much a postulate of faith and religion, but rather good in its broadest sense.
Now you have an idea of how to believe in God and what to choose for yourself. You don’t have to attend churches or wear a cross, the main thing is to remain a kind and fair person. This is exactly what religion calls for.

Today we are taught to believe in ourselves and our strengths. You need to be confident, make money, build a business. It's hard to argue with this. And when you ask: What about God? Why don't people believe in God?

Many people think this way. In my subjective opinion, the absolute majority of us are like that. This is practical thinking based on benefit, benefit, meaning. There are a lot of atheists, even more than we think. There are strong atheists who clearly say that they do not believe in God, there is no God. This is an opinion that, just like everyone else, has the right to life.
But there are also those who do not consider themselves an atheist and believe in God. But just in case. Well, what if there is a God and there is a hell, but I didn’t believe it. No matter how hard it all fits into your head, you definitely need to celebrate the main holidays, perform the main rituals and traditions, but without understanding the meaning of these actions, nor their purpose and purpose. This is called religious hypocrisy. But only here hypocrisy does not work. These people are afraid to consider themselves atheists, but in my opinion, they are. Implicit atheists.
Although, of course, this is not about everyone. Few people really strive to know themselves and faith. And the fact that they go to church and observe rituals is not due to ignorance, but precisely to eliminate ignorance, for the sake of the desire to realize and understand.
This is because we look only at the outside world and believe in it.
But we have neither the time nor the desire to think about what is not seen and not heard.
How to believe in God?

Neither the Bible nor any other sacred texts there's no point in reading if your gaze is directed only to the outside world. Everything you read there will seem like some kind of fairy tale, myth, nonsense that has nothing to do with you and your life. Because there are no logical explanations in my head.
Looking only in front of you, you will never be able to believe in God or in sincere kindness, love, compassion. This will cause slight laughter, and the person speaking about it will cause distrust and antipathy.

How to believe in God?
To believe in God you need turn your gaze inward.
If you can plant even a small seed of faith that there is more inside you than just organs and bones, you have a chance. If you don't look inside yourself at least sometimes, you won't see anything. You expect that the Lord should manifest himself in the world of things, should create some kind of miracle that would prove to you His existence. But the fact that He gave you life is not enough for you.
Maybe you feel like your parents gave you life?
But in my opinion, your parents just made love. But what did they have to do with the fact that this activity made it possible to create you? And they also have nothing to do with the fact that the spirit of life with reason and feelings entered a small embryo in the womb. They are only conductors of the manifestation of an incredible miracle creation of life. But not its creators themselves.
You will not see a miracle, you will not see God in buildings, monuments, pillars, roads, cars, professions and positions. Any building, even the most incredible, with the most complex shape and design, is just a dry calculation of a person or a group of people. This is their hard, painstaking work, but it can still be broken down into its components and explained how they did it.
But you will not be able to do this with the phenomenon of life, mind, with the subtlest balance in nature and inside every living organism with the most complex systems of neural connections. You will not be able to do this with Space and the Universe.
If you can doubt that you are just a piece of meat and bones, that you live for a very short period of time on Earth and disappear into nowhere, and because of this life, in principle, loses all meaning, then there is hope that you can rediscover yourself.

And such actions will bring joy and satisfaction not only to you, but also to all those for whom you will do all this. Such actions make you truly better, when your soul grows and strengthens, and not your body, which exists today and is unknown tomorrow.
Third, you calm down. You stop striving to change this world for yourself, to change people. What is good is good, what is bad, so be it. You learn to let go and not get attached to things, people, or events.. I'm not talking about irresponsibility, about the fact that you should give up on things and don't care about your family and children. I'm talking about inner peace, about the absence of internal fear and anxiety, uncertainty and constant doubts.
And if you are faced with a problem that once could have greatly crippled you, today it will not have such an impact on you. The main thing is the state in which your soul is. And for her this problem doesn’t mean anything at all, so you don’t become attached to her. You did everything you could and in the way that was best for your soul and not at the cost of causing pain and suffering to another person.
It turns out that 90% of everything that happens to us is not important at all. But we ourselves inflate the significance of these events and we ourselves suffer from it.
Spiritual development makes a person stronger.
It is a mistake to believe that awareness of one’s spiritual nature makes a person weaker, that he allegedly loses interest in material life, that he does not need anything. Deeply religious people can indeed refuse outside world, spending his entire life in prayer or meditation and living on alms.
But a man of civilization is not able to so deeply understand and accept his spiritual world, your soul. One life is not enough for this. Although, if you have a firm decision, you can sometimes achieve impossible goals. And I think everyone knows a lot of examples.
You need to lead your ordinary life: eat, drink, sleep, go to work, relax, love your family, enjoy life. But at the same time realize your true nature and your divine origin and enjoy it.
Spiritual support does ordinary person not weaker, but stronger. And this doesn’t stop you from setting firm goals and achieving them. Unless these goals may be slightly different and will take into account moral and spiritual aspects. But also on the way to them, you find a real, most devoted Ally. God. And you can shift many difficulties onto His shoulders. (?)
Leave unsolvable, difficult decisions, do not try to solve everything urgently, sometimes this is not beneficial. And you will be unexpectedly surprised at how sometimes life (God) puts everything in its place in the best possible way for you. How to believe in God? Just love Him, love Him in your soul and the Lord will always reciprocate your love. Always. With no exceptions.
Turn to yourself, take a break from the flickering lights of the outside world at least for a few minutes. Listen to yourself, in silence.

Study the world's religions and their sacred texts. Perhaps some of these pictures of the world will be close to you. But you are not obliged to adhere to absolutely all the tenets of one particular religion. After all, each of them was compiled by people, and they can make mistakes.
Faith leaves an indelible imprint on the life of a believer. Absolutely everything is illuminated by its light - thoughts, intentions, deeds, attitudes towards other people. But for someone who does not believe in God, life takes on completely different characteristics.
It is necessary to understand that what is important for a believer is not faith in God in itself - that is, the knowledge that God exists, but the consequences that this knowledge brings. All great religions claim that the human soul is immortal, therefore one must live in such a way as to gain the necessary spiritual experience, to obtain what is valuable there, beyond this life.
But if a person does not believe in God and life after death, everything changes. Completely different values come to light, largely determined by the human soul.

A correctly found path brings happiness and allows a person, when his time comes, to calmly leave this world - with the knowledge that he did not live in vain. That he did something, achieved something. Or at least didn't give up.
The last one is also very important. You may not achieve anything, but you can leave with your head held high. Those who did not give up, who did not submit to fate and its circumstances. It’s better to take a risk and lose than not to take a risk and leave, regretting that your life was in vain.

When choosing a goal, do not think about money and prestige. Look for what brings you true joy. There is a rule: if man walking in her own way, she gives him everything he needs to live. The most important thing, we repeat, is happiness. And no amount of money can replace it.
Your own path gives not only happiness and joy, but also youth. A person minding his own business will remain cheerful, optimistic, and interested in life until a very old age. And vice versa, by minding something other than your own business, betraying your dream, a person loses interest in life. He can have everything, but it will not bring him happiness.
Returning to faith, let us remember one old expression - God believes even in those who do not believe in Him. A pure-hearted atheist will feel the invisible support of God all his life, precisely because he lives according to his conscience. Those who sincerely strive to learn something, achieve something, and achieve something will also receive support. They strive not for money or fame, but for the sake of achievement as such. For the sake of overcoming, for the sake of achieving new milestones. All these are true spiritual aspirations that allow a person to grow and improve.
It is always worth remembering that time goes by very quickly. There is a good principle: perform every action, every action as if it were the last thing you do in life.
